Mold Illness
Frequently Asked Questions

We begin with a complementary discovery call with a provider licensed in your state and confirming that your symptoms and exposure are consistent with mold illness. Afterwards we will send all of the specialty testing to your home and organize a comprehensive 1 hour tele-health visit to review your full health history and the results of the tests. Based on the severity of your symptoms and the test results, your mold specialist provider will suggest a treatment plan including the appropriate medications, follow-up visits, routine lab monitoring and length of treatment.

If you have prior mold testing, we would love to see it! In order for this to replace our mold testing, it must be within 6 months and the same specialty tests that are in our protocol. If you have had just one of the tests that we recommend and it is within the 6 month time frame, the additional testing will be at a reduced cost

Yes. Patients must be 15 years of age or over. Patients under 18 should contact our support team before booking a discovery call. Text 719-356-5410

The discovery call is a complimentary 15 minute phone call to discuss your symptoms and exposure with a mold specialist (Nurse Practitioner or Physician), in order to confirm that you are an appropriate candidate for testing. During this phone call we will discuss the recommended testing, treatment structure and cost of each package.

No, you do not need a prescription or referral before booking a discovery call. If you were referred by your PCP, another mold specialist or a functional medicine provider, please provide their notes and testing results.

No! The length of treatment is dependent on the severity of your mold illness and your response to medications and supplements. Your provider will recommend a plan based on testing and consultation. The length of the plan we recommend (typically 4 to 12 months) will determine cost.

The cost of medication (BEG spray etc) is not included in the mold treatment package as the medication, dose and length of treatment is personalized based on exposure, symptom severity and test results. All follow up visits and routine lab monitoring is included in your package. Test for cure may be recommended at the end of treatment for an additional fee and this will be a shared decision between patient and provider.

Booking a discovery call is complimentary, and this allows your provider to asses your history of mold exposure and current symptoms. If you are a candidate for mold testing, we will schedule a 1-hour consultation along with the necessary testing. Once testing and the consultation is complete, treatment can start.

Discovery Call - No charge
